Our Privacy Statement

Your privacy is important to us. We want your Internet experience to be as enjoyable possible and to enjoy all the services available to you with confidence.

Personal Information DoorPI collects and how it is used

When you sign up for service, we complete an application that includes your name, address, phone number, username, password and billing information.  This information is not shared with third parties.  We may generate non-identifying and aggregate profiles from personal information on these applications (such as the total numbers but not the names of members).  We may use this aggregated and non-identifying information to sell advertisements that may appear on our web pages.  Non-identifying information is recorded regarding web site traffic of our users.  This information can not be related to any personal information in our records.  It is used to provide more useful promotional messages on our welcome page seen at login.  Users may opt out at any time upon request by email or phone to us.  From time to time we may send out a newsletter via email to our members.  These will contain news and updates about our system or the Internet in general.  The may also promote additional services we offer either directly or in partnership with others.  Users may opt out of these email newsletters by contacting our office by phone, or email.

Online Shopping

When you purchase items online you may be required to provide information to that merchant.  We have no control over how that merchant uses any information you provide them. Please use caution when doing so and read their privacy statement.

Cookies

Cookies are small data files that can be placed on your computer's hard drive when you visit certain sites.  These files do not allow third parties to access your personal information. We may use cookies to collect, store, and sometimes track information for statistical purposes to improve the products and services we provide.  We do not control the use of cookies by advertisers and other web sites and disclaim any responsibility for information collected through them.

Protecting children’s privacy is especially important to us. It is our policy to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 and all other applicable laws. We do our best to protect the information under our control from loss, misuse or alteration.  We can not guarantee that our security measures will prevent third party "hackers" from illegally obtaining this information.
