America Online does not have any local access numbers in the Door and Kewaunee County areas but you can connect to them through DoorPI and avoid huge phone bills as well as reduce your rate from AOL to $9.95 per month (click here for current AOL rates).

Setup is easy. 

  1. First create a Dial-up connection to DoorPI (click here).   Then connect to DoorPI as normal by clicking on the shortcut.
  2. Now start your AOL program.
  3. At the "Sign On" screen, under "select location" choose "ISP/LAN connection" as illusrtated below.
  4. Then just click "Sign on" and that's it!

Remember to get the lower rate go to keyword:BILLING and select "Change your billing method or Price Plan".  Then select the $9.95 "bring-your-own-access" plan.  You must do this at least 72 hours prior to your next billing date.
