Make a New Dial-Up Connection
Double Click on "My Computer" (usually in the upper left corner of the
Windows desktop).
Then double click on "Dial-Up Networking".

Now double click on "Make a New Connection.

Skip the area code, and for telephone number type in the access
number that's local for you. For Sturgeon Bay is 746-1952. For Algoma it's 487-2617.
Then click on Next.

Now click on "Finish", but continue to follow these
instructions. There's more.

Now right click on the connection icon just created
and select "Properties" from the menu.

Click on the tab "Server Types"

Uncheck "Log on to network", "NetBEUI", and
"IPX/SPX"
Then click on TCP/IP settings.

Make sure this is all set to "Server assigned" and the
boxes grayed out.
The last two boxes remain checked.
Then click on OK. That's it!
