Windows 98/ME Setup
Click on Start->Settings->Control Panel
If you get this screen, select "view all Control Panel options".

Double click on "Internet Options" as shown below.

Type http://www.doorpi.com/home
Click on "apply"
Click on the tab "Connections"

Click on the top most button labeled "Setup"

Select the third option to setup your connection manually,

Select the first option, connect through a phone line and a
modem.

Enter the phone number for the center you are dialing
For Sturgeon Bay it's 746-1952. For Algoma it's 487-2617.
Unless you take your computer on trips with you, uncheck the box about using area code.

Enter your username and password exactly. They username is usually
all lower case and
the password often contains either some capital letters or numbers and is at least six
characters long.

Enter the Connection name, usually DPI but this is only a label
and has no effect on your
connection. If you access multiple locations you may want it DPI-Sturgeon Bay for example.

Select "Yes" to setup up your doorpi.net email account.

If you have a previous email setup on your computer, you may get a screen asking about
using it. Instead, select the option to create a new one and click next.
Enter your full name or what ever you want people to see when they
receive email from you.

Enter your email address which is your username followed by the
"@" sign and then
doorpi.net. This part is NOT case sensitive so you can for example use
YourName@DoorPI.net.

Leave the server type as "POP3" and on the two longer
lines enter "mail.doorpi.net".

Enter your username and password as before. This is case
sensitive and the username is
usually all lower case. The password is six to eight characters and is required to contain
some combination of upper and lower case letters or numbers.

That's it! To close the wizard click finish. To get on the
Internet, just click on the blue "e"
next to your start button.
